Trapped
I wriggled my wrists as hard as I could to break free from the magical chains. It was a total waste of time and a waste of the little energy that I had. I hung my head and sighed. Lord, please don abandon me now. I need you. Remember that miracle I was talking to you about earlier? Yeah. It would be nice if you could make it happen now.
I cocked my ears and heart for an answer from the Lord or the sound of the iron gate clanking on the ground from the force that the Lord would use to rip it off. I listened, looked, and hoped.
